2. The warning system has passed the seismic wave
It is worth mentioning that "earthquake warning" refers to the principle that electric waves are faster than seismic waves, providing a warning time of several seconds to tens of seconds to the target area before the earthquake occurs at the epicenter but has not yet caused damage to the surrounding target area. Theoretical research has shown that a warning time of 3 seconds can reduce the casualty ratio by 14%; If it is 10 seconds, the casualty ratio can be reduced by 39%. If the warning time is 20 seconds, it can reduce the casualty ratio by 63%. Even if you run for an extra second, it may be possible to save a fresh life! Thank you to the researchers who silently contribute! Currently, China's earthquake warning technology has reached the world's advanced level.
